“Eighty-Eight Small Feelings” is a series of 4x6-inch paintings, each composed of just three colors and a single recurring figure: a swingset, a bicycle, or a slide. Each motif stands in for a type of person — the gentle drifter, the quiet traveler, the one always on the edge of falling and flight. Paired with color, they become moods. Stories. Versions of us. No two are the same, but they know each other well.
